Mymuse 2.5.3 Released

We are pleased to announce ther release of Joomla! MyMuse 2.5.3.

New features include:

  • 'No Registration' option. Capture the fields you want. (Name, email, etc.). Customers are logged in as a guest user.
  • Start using Akeeba Release System. High praise for Akeeba!
  • Add 'Live Update' from Akeeba. Going to MyMuse Control Panel will tell you if you have the latest version. One click update (provided you have a subscription and enter your username and password in the parameters).
  • Track time: new field to enter the time of tracks. Option to show or hide Track Time.
  • Option to skip checkout page and go right to Confirm with payment options.
  • Add Itemid to urls so Joomla can set correct template. For those of you who use different templates for different menus.
  • Fix install script to not clobber CSS changes.
  • Updates to Html5 Player plugins.
  • Many other little bugs and tweaks.

MyMuse 2.5.1 Released

We are happy to announce the release of MyMuse 2.5.1. This has many new enhancements and bug fixes and updating is recommended.

 New Features

  • Add update servers to notify you of updates.
  • New plugin "Redirect on Login" to send people to the cart on login, if they have a cart going.
  • Update shopper model to get profiles and test if older users need to update their profiles.
  • Additions to CSS to help with multi-column blog views.
  • Update javascript to standardize jquery calls in video/audio plugins.
  • Payfast payment plugin now working in 2.5.
  • Add sales reports for artists. Admin can assign users to a category so they can see sales from that category.

Fixes

  • Fix store currency, change to get from store params.
  • Fix profile_key=mymuse on install
  • Fix "Save Orders After Payment" to find profile

Plus many small improvements, additions and general tidying to improve the user experience.

You can download the Joomla 1.5 version of MyMuse here. As of November 15, 2012 we will no longer be charging for the 1.5 version. Please look to the forum for support or purchase support hours at Arboreta.

Forum Back Online

Since we upgraded the site, we have not heard any forum news. Turns out that upgrading Kunena forum was not so simple. New rules meant that moderators were not assigned and got no posts. Too bad most of them are spam! From now on all Registrants must be approved by the admin. Sorry if this slows down legit people from posting but it will result in less spam and more real talk on MyMuse.
